St.Martins Square is Leicester's most unique and fashionable shopping centre, located conveniently in the Lanes area of the City. Constructed in 1984 by the Bass Pension Scheme, trading commenced in December of that year providing Leicester with an alternative shopping experience that was different to the "traditional malls" of that era.
Unlike most other shopping centres, St.Martins Square is based on an open street scene having 32 individual retail units, all of which are occupied by an eclectic range of independent and regional retailers. Then as today St.Martins provides Leicester with a wide range of fashion stores but also boast a number of special gift shops, body care, café / restaurants and home goods, a mix which we hope provides you a with the perfect shopping experience.
